Oh Lord, Rectify my states!

Allah swt is generous, Allah swt is Karim. We have a lord swt that gives, we have a lord swt that overlooks, we have a lord swt that gives and gives and gives swt.So it be who us as muslims as people that beliees in lailaha ilallah muhammadurrasulullah, to be thankful to Allah swt, for all of the gifts that He has given us.

There are so many gifts of Allah swt, in every moment and every hour and every second, in every instance there are gifts and mercies and blessings that are coming from Allah swt. But the problem for some of us is that we do not have our receptors or our devices if you like on reception, is like the cell phone for example.
Now if your cell phone is out of range, what happens? You dont’t receive any messages. The cell phone if it is broken, or something is defective in the device, what happens? You don’t receive anything. What if the service provider is having a period of maintainence, that they are rectifying some type of khalal(deficiency) in the service, what happens to your particular service? You don’t get service. You don’t get reception.

So our hearts are the receptors, are those devices if you will, that will be receiveing the mesages from Allah swt. But if your device is uneffective, or your network(IE) those that you keep company with are not supporting you and not geeting you what you need to get closer to Allah swt, then you need to work fixing your device, and you need to work on getting your networks, your companions and friends.
This is the key and Allah swt said, “Be with the truthful”.
And who are the most truthful of people? “Al anbiya war rusul”

And then after them, who are the most truthfuland the most sincere of people?
“The awliya of Allah”
And Alhamdulillah, its from the grace of Allah Ta’ala, its the mercy of Allah swt, from the blessings that Allah has sent us. We also have access to those “Awliya of Allah swt”that are still living amongsts us. There are Alhamdulilah many of the awliya of Allah swt.
May Allah benefit us from their light, barakah and nur ameen Ya Rabbal ‘Alamin.
Alhamdulillah, we have a chance to be able to connect to them but it is such a sad state when the muslim has people around them that are close to Allah swt, but yet there’s no desire to meet with them, there’s no desire to sit with them, there’s no deisre to benefit from them. Why?

It’s because the device is faulty, there’s something wrong with that heart!
When that heart is purified and when that heart is rectified and when that heart is brought in line to what is beloved to Allah swt, then that heart becomes alive. And when that heart becomes alive, then it can also recognise those hearts who are alive, and when those hearts connect, then great things can happen. And when those things happen, then the nur, the light and the blessings and the barakah will spread. But when we deprive ourselves, of those blessings, of those barakah, of those nur, we are only depriving our ownselves.

For sure we are not hurting Allah swt, don’t think that you’re harming Allah by your distant state. You are only harming yourself. I’m harming myself when i distance myself from Allah swt. You O brother, you o sister, you’re only harming yourselves when you distance yourselves from Allah swt. So we ask allah swt to forgive us of our sins, and to rectify our state, and to beautify our hearts, to beautify our characters, and to bring us in line in what is pleasing to Him.
For verily brothers and sisters, we have many faults, we have many mistakes, we have many sins, and we must turn to Allah swt and ask Him to forgive us. We have to beg Allah swt to forgive us. And if you don’t think you have any sin, then think again because there are many diseases of the hearts.
Sheikh Khalil Moore once shared when he was in one of the muslim country and he was picking a package from the post office. She met a lady who worked day and he just said “May Allah forgive our sins” randomly. And she said for what? We’re not living in such places where there’s clubs and people are in complete heedlessness and ghaflah, but we’re in such a city where’s there’s nothing here. What did we do? What sins?

Sheikh Khalil turned to her said” My dear sister, let me ask you. Have you never seen someone like your colleague, or your friend, they got somethinf which yo don’t have or they’re married and you’re not or something that happened to them that never happened to you. Did you ever feel jealous?Did you ever feel hasad and envy and jealousy?

She said, “Of course i do!” and Sheikh Khalil prompted,”That’s not a sin? Somebody is going to say may Allah forgive us and you say for what?”
Hence my dear brothers and sisters, do reflect upon our hearts. May Allah forgive our hearts AMEEN!May Allah forgive us and rectify our states! Many of us need to come back to Allah. I need to come back to Allah honestly. We all need to come back to Allah.

So may Allah swt help us to roll with his Rahmah, to go with Rahmah, to get the blessings from Him and from the great awliya’s insyallah Ya Rabbal ‘Alamin.
Allahumma unzhur ilaina, wa thohhir gulubana, wa zakkin anfusana, waghfirlana Ya ar hamarrahimin.Allahumma ja’alna siratal mustagim, Allahummaj ‘alna muttabi’ina lisayydil mursalin,fi zahir wa bathin wa’ala kullihal, Ya Ar hamarrahimin,
Allahummaghfirlana lima salaf, wah fazhna bima bagi.Ya Rabbal ‘alamin. YaHayyuya Gayyum,

Unzhur ilaina wa thohhir hazhihil gulub, Allahumma thohhir hazhihil gulub, Allahumma thohhir hazhihil gulub, wa’fu ‘anizzhunibi wa zallat Ya Rabbal ‘Alamin.
Allahummar butna bil awliya iwassolihin, al ahyaa iminhum wal amwaat.al ahyaa iminhum wal ahyaa!
Wa sallallahu a’ala sayyidina muhammadin wa’ala alihi wasohbihi wasallim.
